Rap Factory at Beiersdorf
The SemiNarren were called in to kickstart the Rap Factory at a Beiersdorf AG qualification event. Sintje Strobach from Corporate Human Resources was friendly enough to answer some interview questions:
SemiNews: Hello Ms. Strobach, how are you?
Sintje Strobach: Very well, thank you...
SemiNews: In November of last year, we held a Rap Factory for a project manager qualification event. How did you become aware of the SemiNarren?
Sintje Strobach: Thomas Schleiss of next level consulting told us good things about your work, and was kind enough to establish contact. Your proposal finally won us over!
SemiNews: How would you describe your experience with the SemiNarren during the preparation phase?
Sintje Strobach: Excellent! We quickly realised that you understood very well what we wanted. You were also flexible in reacting to our requests, which gave us a positive impression of your level of professionalism. In our view, you were able to utilise existing imformation for optimal implementation. You work very closely with next level consulting, so I’m sure you also got some information from there...
SemiNews: ... yes, we’re a subsidiary of next level consulting. Thomas Schleiss, CEO at next level consulting Germany and responsible consultant for the qualification event was able to give us some very helpful tips. How pleased were you with the final Rap Factory results?
Sintje Strobach: The participants had no idea what they were getting into – all of us were rather curious. The “Beiersdorf Rap” you performed at the beginning helped to loosen things up right away. Our people responded very well to the rhythm exercises and rap composition strategy. It was exciting to watch the commitment with which they got down to work.
SemiNews: And how satisfied are you with the results?
Sintje Strobach: The results were a lot of fun! It’s just a shame that we had to sing the texts a second time...
SemiNews: .. it was live ...
Sintje Strobach: ... Yes, I know. Still, the benefits and positive effects are amazing. The team grew together, had a great time developing a ‘product’ in a creative micro-project, and the whole thing had the desired effect content-wise. The topics growing out of this process were then developed further in our ‘serious’ agenda. Everyone talked about it for days – and, of course, everyone is proud to have a recording of their own rap.
SemiNews: So, you intend to recommend us further?
Sintje Strobach: Yes! There have already been enquiries from other departments, asking what the heck we were up to. And, as you well know, we’ll work together again – you’ve already submitted a very interesting proposal! (grins)
